Poultry Health Technician


The Poultry Health Technician will work as part of the flock caretaker team with the farm veterinarian to ensure the quality care and treatment of all Atlantic Poultry Incorporated’s birds.    Responsibilities of the Poultry Technician include monitoring the health of flocks in consultation with the company’s field veterinarian, completing health exams of birds as directed by the vet, vaccinating animals and performing treatments as required, environmental pathogen testing, and maintaining health and vet reports and records as assigned. The Poultry Health Technician will be involved with API’s animal welfare program as well as industry welfare audits.
